underwhelming experience
the breakfast offered a great start to the day with tasty options and prompt service. i was happy with that.
The room i booked was not up to par. The shower barely worked, and the towels were threadbare. honestly. The lack of attention to basic maintenance was pretty surprising for this kind of place.

Really good stay at the loch
attentive staff nice experience spacious suite outdoor hot tubs
The staff were attentive and really ensured a nice experience. My room, a Woodland Suite, included two balconies and a separate sitting area (it was very spacious). The shower had great water pressure. The spa has two outdoor hot tubs as well as a resistance pool.

The hotel is set in a beautiful area just outside a charming town. Walks along the water and to the town are readily accessible. This provides a serene and picturesque backdrop for a relaxing stay.

The spa includes two indoor hot tubs as well as a sauna and a steam room. The indoor pool is fine. I found the outdoor hot tubs to be particularly enjoyable after a day exploring.

unwelcoming atmosphere non-functional facilities
The initial impression at reception was underwhelming. The area lacked clear signage and a cute atmosphere. It felt transactional, not aligning with a five-star experience.. Spa facilities were also limited. I noted the absence of a relaxation area and herbal tea, standard amenities I expect. The poolside floor needed more attention. I also observed non-functional steam and aromatherapy rooms, alongside a broken cold shower.

warm welcome attentive staff
the concierge team greeted me warmly and gave me a quick tour showing me all the amenities, the staff were attentive and were very good. the breakfast had plenty of choice too, it was AMAZING!!!
the room was a tad too warm even with the radiators turned down, but the bed was still comfortable.
