I had an incredible getaway at Fonab Pitlochry, where the luxurious setting and attentive staff made for a memorable experience. The culinary offerings were stellar, especially at the Sandeman restaurant, although the Brasserie had its moments too. My only caveat was the slight distance of my lodge from the main hotel building, which made access a bit inconvenient at times. Overall, the experience was worth every penny, and I look forward to returning.

Our stay at Fonab Castle was absolutely delightful! The service was impeccable and the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The dining experience was exceptional, especially with the exquisite breakfast offerings. However, the room had some issues, particularly the hot temperature and the lack of air conditioning, making our sleep less than ideal. Overall, the value for money is reasonable, although some meals can add up quickly.

My stay at this hotel was quite the mixed bag. While the service was attentive and genuinely caring, the room I was allocated didn't live up to the 5-star standard I expected. On the plus side, the dining experience was superb, especially the tasting menu, and the spa facilities were a joy. However, the location could be improved for easy access to local attractions.
Rooms

The lodge I stayed in was spacious but had several maintenance issues, including ripped wallpaper and a broken door mechanism. Overall, it was not as pristine as one would hope for such a premium price.

Fonab Castle offers an unforgettable dining experience with exquisite food in a stunning castle setting. The staff is attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere, but some service aspects before arrival could use improvement. The room I initially received was too small for my needs, but staff swiftly helped us move to a more spacious and luxurious room with a breathtaking loch view, which made all the difference. While the dining experience was remarkable, others faced issues with bookings that detracted from their stays.

Overall, it provides excellent value for a relaxing getaway with great amenities.
